In Stuttgart gibt es viele Einbahnstra\u00dfen, die bislang nicht in Gegenrichtung mit dem Fahrrad befahren werden durften \u2013 obwohl dies aus rechtlicher und sicherheitstechnischer Sicht oft m\u00f6glich w\u00e4re. Das Ziel eines st\u00e4dtischen Projekts war es deshalb, alle potenziell geeigneten Einbahnstra\u00dfen zu erfassen und systematisch zu pr\u00fcfen, ob sie f\u00fcr den Radverkehr ge\u00f6ffnet werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Technisch durchdacht und datenbasiert:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Dazu wurde ein digitales Verfahren entwickelt, das auf OpenStreetMap und dem st\u00e4dtischen Geoinformationssystem (GIS) basiert. Zun\u00e4chst wurde das gesamte Stra\u00dfennetz in Stuttgart ausgewertet. Ein besonderer Fokus lag auf Stra\u00dfen mit:<\/p>\n

  • Tempo 30<\/li>\n
  • einem Einfahrverbot f\u00fcr Autos (klassische Einbahnstra\u00dfen)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Stra\u00dfen, bei denen dies zutraf, wurden herausgefiltert und in einer Tabelle aufbereitet. So entstand erstmals eine umfassende Datenbasis aller relevanten Einbahnstra\u00dfen in Stuttgart.<\/p>\n

    Zuverl\u00e4ssige Pr\u00fcfung \u2013 f\u00fcr ein verbessertes Radangebot<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Die so gewonnenen Daten wurden mit dem internen System GEOLiNE.pro der Stadt gegengepr\u00fcft, um sicherzustellen, dass keine relevanten Stra\u00dfen \u00fcbersehen wurden. Ergebnis: Die Datenqualit\u00e4t war hoch, sogar besser als bei bisherigen manuellen Pr\u00fcfungen.<\/p>\n

    Anschlie\u00dfend wurde jede Einbahnstra\u00dfe nach einheitlichen Kriterien untersucht, ob eine \u00d6ffnung f\u00fcr den Radverkehr m\u00f6glich und sicher ist.<\/p>\n

    Das Ergebnis: 310 ge\u00f6ffnete Einbahnstra\u00dfen<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Insgesamt konnten 68 weitere Einbahnstra\u00dfen f\u00fcr den Radverkehr ge\u00f6ffnet werden. Damit steigt die Zahl auf 310 ge\u00f6ffnete Stra\u00dfen im gesamten Stadtgebiet \u2013 das sind \u00fcber 60\u202f% aller geeigneten Einbahnstra\u00dfen. Die Anbringung der neuen Verkehrsschilder ist bereits in Arbeit, damit Radfahrende bald noch sicherer und flexibler durch Stuttgart kommen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Wie k\u00f6nnen wir den begrenzten Parkraum in unseren St\u00e4dten besser nutzen? Das Projekt \u201eParkUp\u201c<\/strong> bringt frischen Wind in Stuttgarts Parkraumplanung.     Mehr als nur Parkpl\u00e4tze<\/h4>\r\n

    Private Parkh\u00e4user bieten z.B. oft ungenutztes Potenzial. Tags\u00fcber stehen Stellpl\u00e4tze leer, w\u00e4hrend der Verkehr in den Stra\u00dfen stockt. ParkUp setzt genau hier an: Durch smarte Nutzungskonzepte soll sich der Parkraum flexibler und f\u00fcr unterschiedliche Zwecke einsetzen lassen \u2013 sei es f\u00fcr Pendler, Anwohner oder die urbane Logistik. Ziel ist es, den Verkehr zu entzerren, Emissionen zu senken und die Lebensqualit\u00e4t in Stuttgart zu verbessern.<\/p>\r\n

    Im Mittelpunkt stehen digitale Technologien: Mit intelligenten Systemen werden freie Stellpl\u00e4tze erfasst, flexibel vergeben und f\u00fcr unterschiedliche Zielgruppen nutzbar gemacht. So k\u00f6nnen Parkfl\u00e4chen beispielsweise am Morgen Lieferdiensten, am Mittag Eink\u00e4ufern und am Abend Anwohnern zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen. Diese digitale Vernetzung hilft, den vorhandenen Raum optimal auszusch\u00f6pfen \u2013 ohne zus\u00e4tzlichen Platzverbrauch.<\/p>\r\n

    ParkUp denkt urbanen Verkehr neu: Weniger Parkplatzsuche bedeutet weniger Verkehr, weniger Stress und weniger Belastung f\u00fcr die Umwelt.
